Jason is a passionate music educator with experience in primary schools, as a secondary school music teacher, choral workshop leader, and piano teacher.  His aim is that all students enjoy learning and making music in an inclusive and welcoming environment, regardless of prior experiences and attainment. He is a regular section leader on National Youth Choir courses, as well as NYC's SING! Programme, with each programme engaging 60 young singers aged between 7-16 in their home region. He enjoys combining the skills he learns as a teacher with those he has learns as a football coach. In the Summer Term 2023, Jason started the Lantern Youth Choir where he teaches good vocal technique and practical musicianship skills.
